Create detailed drawings for components and assemblies using SolidWorks, edit and revise existing drawings, and maintain design files. Support the Engineering team in the creation of new products and provide drawing interpretations during assembly processes.
Responsibilities
Create drawings for components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Edit and revise existing drawings and maintain design files.
Support Engineering with the creation of new products.
Provide drawing interpretations to the shop during assembly processes.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and designs.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Strong mechanical design skills.
Knowledge of CAD and drafting.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Design/Drafting or equivalent working experience.
3-5+ years of relevant experience.
Work Environment
Most of the time will be spent at a desk performing design work, but there will be opportunities to collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams during assembly processes. The role offers a chance to join a growing team in the Greater Lexington Area, working on diverse projects for notable clients.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $29.00/hr.
