Job Purpose & Scope
Manages the Interior Design team while developing and managing project work with architects, engineers, and vendors for Bank construction and Interior Design projects.
Essential Job Functions
M anages the work of project architects, engineers, and vendors for Bank construction and Interior Design projects.
Oversees all Interior Design projects and coordinates workload within the Interior Design team.
Works directly with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the accuracy of the design intent, and fulfillment and procurement of material to ensure project completion.
Reviews and approves proposals and solicitations from vendors.
Operates within and manages a budget and recommends alternate design solutions when items are unavailable within project timeframe or exceeds approved budget.
Interacts directly with internal and external construction and facility staff for coordination on projects.
Researches trends in architecture and design and makes recommendations for project design change.
Responsible for a book of Interior Design projects and assigns Interior Design projects to team based on individual skillsets and workload.
Tracks projects from initiation to completion and provides status reports to management.
Develops furniture orders and oversees installation of new furniture.
Conducts site inspections and punch lists to ensure project completion .
Provides design direction throughout the entire process to ensure design quality and fidelity of design execution.
Communicates and collaborates with executive leadership on Interior Design projects for the Bank.
Manages, supervises, trains, and mentors other Interior Design employees of varying experience and ability.
Drives an automobile on company business.
Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of systems furniture specifications, building codes, ADA, and space planning.
Knowledge and operation of standard office equipment.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to demonstrate excellent and effective customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to determine when to escalate concerns related to timelines, budget and/or other elements of interior design projects to management, and when appropriate, to internal and external partners.
Ability to communicate effective both verbally and in writing.
Ability to demonstrate effective leadership and supervisory skills.
Skill in using computer, AutoCad and/or Revit, and Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor ’s degree in Interior Design , Architecture, other job-related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
6+ years of Interior Design or Project Management work experience, required (experience in Property Management, Facilities, or Construction, preferred).
1+ year of leadership experience, preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record, required.
