About PSRS/PEERS
PSRS/PEERS serves more than 315,000 members, working in partnership with Missouri public school districts to provide retirement security for Missouri's public school teachers and education employees.
Most of our 173 employees work out of our office located on the west side of Jefferson City, at 3210 West Truman Boulevard. Our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Many positions have scheduling flexibility within those hours and the opportunity to telecommute part of the week. We provide state-of-the-art technology and security, with comfortable, ergonomic working spaces and collaborative areas throughout the building. About the Job
As a Graphic Designer II, you will use your graphic design skills and creativity to produce effective, engaging and informative materials for a variety of media and for various target audiences. This position reports to our Director of Communications.
You will lead the development of graphic design for promotional and informational content including brochures, infographics and training materials. In collaboration with all members of the Communications team, you will work to ensure the integrity of the PSRS/PEERS brand is maintained and communications needs are met.
In addition, you will develop schedules for the creation of digital and print materials and serve as a point of contact with outside print vendors.
Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in graphic design/arts with at least five years of relevant work experience and a solid portfolio of work.
