The Role As a Principal UX Designer, you will help transform complex information and tasks into easy-to-use designs for our millions of customers and associates. To do this, you'll need to think visually, using techniques like storyboards and sketching to communicate design concepts. You'll use your deep knowledge of the UX process (research, conceptual design, prototyping, testing) in collaboration with other team members, to iterate multiple solutions and deliver pixel-perfect designs.

Responsibilities Transform complex information and tasks into easy-to-use designs for our customers and associates.
Think visually, using techniques like storyboards and sketching to communicate design concepts.
Bring cross-functional leaders around your design process and proposed solutions, rationalizing work with user research and design best-practices.
Lead other designers inside and outside our team through example, mentorship, and a high bar for craft.
Lead in the creation of business, consumer, and associate product experiences.
Think holistically about the customers using our products, a cohesive design system, and end-to-end experiences.
Solve complex problems and work collaboratively to create a cohesive design ecosystem.
Switch gears from deep design thinking to rapid-fire execution.
Qualifications A background in relevant areas including Enterprise software, Retail, Finance / Fintech, Data Visualization, AI.
High bar for craft and owning your design process.
Curious and independent thinker that enjoys solving large, complex problems.
Comfortable navigating larger companies and designing at scale.
Ability to communicate concepts to audiences of all levels of understanding.
Track record of deploying user interface standards and conventions, functional communication flows, and dynamic, engaging interfaces.
Strong understanding of design theory and concepts to create effective visual communication with hierarchy and balance (typography, color, space, contrast).
Ability to work with design templates and patterns to create and maintain a scalable and consistent website and mobile application.
Experience with gathering business requirements, site assessment, competitive analysis, and secondary research.
Design certification (e.g., IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
