Role Overview
Messina seeks a motivated, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role will play a critical part in expanding our brand presence, supporting lead generation, and creating engaging content to communicate our value proposition to target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital marketing, written and video content creation, distribution, and campaign management, with a strong ability to adapt to a dynamic consulting environment. Your creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of brand value will be critical in contributing to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development: Create high-quality, targeted written and video content across digital channels, including blog posts, case studies, newsletters, and social media posts, to support brand positioning and generate client engagement.
Campaign Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads, nurture client relationships, and drive business growth.
Social Media Strategy: Manage Messina Group's social media presence on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter, focusing on engaging mid-market and private equity-backed companies.
Email Marketing: Support and execute email marketing initiatives, including segmented campaigns, automation, and performance tracking, to enhance client engagement and lead generation.
Data & Analytics: Monitor and report on key marketing metrics (e.g., engagement, traffic, conversion rates) and provide insights to optimize campaigns and content strategies.
Brand Development: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and communications.
Event Support: Collaborate with the business development team to coordinate and promote webinars, conferences, and other client events, including developing promotional materials and managing post-event follow-up.
Website Management: Assist in managing website updates and SEO efforts to improve search rankings, enhance user experience, and support lead generation efforts. Experience with WordPress or another CMS platform is preferred.
Communication & Collaboration – Work closely with internal stakeholders, leadership, and other marketing colleagues, and manage vendors and processes.
Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within a fast-moving, high-growth B2B or professional services setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creating engaging and informative content consistently on brand.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, and SEO.
Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Pardot (aka Salesforce Account Engagement) or HubSpot, Google Analytics (GA4), LinkedIn, and PowerPoint.
Creative, highly professional graphic design and skills using tools and platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Efficient and creative video production capabilities using various tools and platforms (e.g. Lumen5 or other AI-enabled video tools).
Self-starting, Organized, Detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Monday.com or other project management toolsis advantageous.
Familiarity with mid-market consulting or private equity-backed businesses is a plus.
