Position Summary: This position is responsible for establishing a grass roots movement among instructors and other influential people of the sport, promoting our products and the PD culture, building up relationships with these individuals and teams to foster brand ambassadors across the globe in support of the PD Brand and Culture.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skydiving background a must
Must be computer literate with experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
Must be familiar with standard online social network interfaces
Must be willing to travel within the United States and internationally
Must possess excellent verbal communication skills
Must possess excellent text editing abilities, and a sound grammar foundation
Must possess fundamental financial knowledge, and basic principles of budget management
Must be able to multitask and organize work in a time-effective manner
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree in marketing or Customer Service or equivalent amount of education and experience
3 5 years Marketing or Customer Service experience preferably in a skydiving manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Finger, hand, and arm dexterity is necessary for data entry and creation of reports.
Visual awareness to perform all job functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for communicating with all levels of Performance Designs, Inc. staff, customers, vendors, dealers, and media.
Must have legible handwriting to complete required documentation.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time.

- Manage Sponsorship Program
- Manage Athletes - Renew existing agreements, review and process new sponsorship applicants and monitor behavior and performance of sponsored athletes
- Manage Sponsorship budget - Determine budget, and control and allocate.
- Manage Sponsorship gear, including support items - qualify and allocate gear to sponsored athletes, coordinate retirement or resale of gear, place orders for new equipment and manage payment/shipping information, coordinate maintenance of gear
- Foster the relationship between PD and the sponsored athletes - Communicate with sponsored athletes, request, analyze, archive, and manage quarterly updates, media and submissions from sponsored athletes, create sponsorship newsletters, and distribute event attendance/support requests to tour reps.
- Attend competitive events such as national championships, FAI category 1 & 2 Events, and other high-profile skydiving events - promote goodwill with event organizers, communicate with athletes, and manage vendor and event support for the above
- Manage sponsored-athlete surveys - develop new surveying tools, based on current marketing needs, applying surveying tools to sponsored athletes, gather, analyze and distribute internally relevant findings from the surveying tool
- Performs other tasks related to sponsorship program as determined by Marketing Manager
