As one of the members of the Data Science & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Airtable by deepening our understanding of how people use the open-ended toolkit that Airtable offers. As a Data Scientist you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Airtable by transforming data into critical self-serve data artifacts that power impactful analytical use cases and empower data consumers. You will aim to deepen our understanding of our product and become a subject matter expert (SME) for Airtable's Marketing data. You will be responsible for partnering and enabling the Marketing team and other cross-functional teams with insights, instrumentation, and experimentation efforts. What you'll do Partner with Marketing, Sales & Product Development teams to help drive insights, identify opportunities, and understand behavior and long-term trends. Understand where various opportunities fit into the broader strategy and prioritize competing demands to ensure the most impactful items are delivered. Take a leading role in producing new datasets, developing high-impact data models, and tools to enable self-service analytics. Develop and own critical reporting and dashboards that provide transparency into the business. Manage the design and analysis of experiments; develop and socialize a rigorous culture of experimentation throughout the entire company. Play a foundational role in building a data culture at Airtable through reproducible work, improved processes, and better tooling. Define and monitor key metrics through consistent tracking, KPI’s, and dashboards. Gather feedback and input on self-service implementations from Marketing stakeholders and peers and create a cycle of continuous improvement. Who you are You have 5+ years previous experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer. You have experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large data sets and are familiar with a scientific programming language, such as R or Python. Deep familiarity with dimensional modeling/data warehousing concepts. You have the ability to translate raw data into meaningful business insights. You are an excellent storyteller and able to communicate your findings with clarity and precision, whether through writing or visualizations. You have strong knowledge of statistics and experimental design. You possess a natural curiosity and strive to uncover the deeper relationships that are not always immediately discoverable. You are experienced with building and maintaining data modeling layers (e.g., DBT & Looker). Proficiency in data visualization and adept at tailoring presentations to executives, managers, and individual contributors within the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
