We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is an important and exciting marketing role that is key to the future success of the business. You will be jointly responsible (with the Marketing Manager) for the website and also the main digital acquisition channels (SEO, PPC, Online Display & Affiliates). It’s a core business objective to exponentially grow enquiries and online bookings and you have joint responsibility for that.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage workloads across different disciplines whilst constantly striving for improvements and feeding back on performance and results. The candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team, and will proactively strive for improvements and innovations across the whole marketing mix. This is a hybrid working role, with typically 2-3 days per week required in the Chiswick office (essential).
Ecommerce / Website Jointly responsible for growing online bookings across all products, in line with business targets and objectives.
Responsible for continuously developing, testing and optimising the website (on both desktop and mobile). It’s an exciting time to join us, as we are just embarking on a significant web development project, and the new Digital Executive will be heavily involved in this project.
Using GA4 (and other analytics platforms) daily, responsible for monitoring, reporting on and agreeing improvements to customer journeys, reporting on quality and quantity of web traffic from all channels.
Jointly responsible for implementing an ongoing development roadmap in line with budgets and business objectives and reporting on results at the end of each month.
You are responsible for optimising web enquiries and the collection of customer data (e.g. email sign-ups), to generate sales leads and grow the CRM database.
Working closely with website development agency, responsible for ensuring uninterrupted website performance by assessing, validating and resolving technical bugs.
Responsible for monitoring competitor websites, so we are aware of the latest innovations and industry trends and make recommendations for improvements.
Search Marketing Organic (SEO) Jointly responsible for agreeing, reporting and delivering on the SEO strategy – with the target of #1 in search for priority keywords. Report on results on a monthly basis (using MOZ) and make recommendations for improvement.
Responsible for briefing the SEO agency on business priorities and target keywords so that their work has maximum impact on our rankings and bookings, at the right time of year.
Keep up to speed on the latest Google algorithm updates and Search Engine insights by monitoring SEO blogs and other industry sources.
Paid (PPC) & Affiliates Jointly responsible for agreeing, briefing and reporting on the Paid Search (PPC) agency on monthly budgets and keyword priorities, including products we need to push and the current offers and promotions, etc.
Review weekly paid search performance reports (including call data) and look for insights and potentially suggest changes to the campaigns. Responsible for assessing the ROI of paid search campaigns and suggest changes to the budgets, ad copy, keyword targets, etc.
Responsible for setting up display ad campaigns with the agency, including supplying artwork, budgets and agreeing target markets.
Assess competitor search activity and look for insights and ideas, report on findings and recommend improvements each month.
Work with affiliates to grow traffic and improve ROI within agreed timescales.
About You: Good working knowledge of reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Experience of managing PPC campaigns and budgets.
Experience of using a content management system (CMS) to update websites.
Experience of e-commerce websites and techniques.
Understanding of website design in order to increase conversion rates.
Experience of latest SEO techniques.
Knowledge of HTML coding.
Project management skills.
Experience using Photoshop.
Passionate traveller: ideally with skiing or snowboarding experience, ready to share your passion and write creative content confidently as a travel expert.
