This role requires a visionary leader who thrives on balancing structure with innovation, delivering campaigns that resonate deeply with our audiences across the United States and Canada. Working closely with the Global Social Media Director, you will adapt and elevate global strategies to create a dynamic and impactful social media presence in North America.
In this role, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer for the North American Market.
Randstad has embraced a hybrid work model that balances flexibility with in-person collaboration. You’ll have the option to work remotely up to three days a week, providing a mix of remote flexibility and office engagement.

Creative Leadership within a Global Framework:
Reimagine global social media strategies for the North American market, ensuring campaigns are not only aligned but also amplified with localized creativity and relevance.
Serve as the creative lead for the region, bringing bold, innovative ideas to life while maintaining brand integrity and global consistency.
Partner with the global team to identify creative opportunities that reflect North American trends, culture, and audience behavior.
Development of High-Impact Campaigns:
Design and execute multi-channel campaigns that push creative boundaries, engage diverse audiences, and drive measurable impact.
Craft region-specific storytelling strategies that inspire, educate, and connect with key talent and client segments.
Lead the production of compelling content, from short-form videos to interactive social experiences, leveraging the latest platform innovations.
Strategic Data-Driven Decision Making:
Use analytics and insights to inform campaign strategies, ensuring data drives both creativity and measurable results.
Monitor performance metrics across platforms to assess campaign effectiveness, optimize in real time, and set benchmarks for success.
Translate audience insights into actionable ideas that resonate with North American talent and clients.
Thought Leadership and Innovation:
Act as a thought leader for social media in the North American market, identifying trends and opportunities to keep Randstad at the forefront of digital engagement.
Advocate for experimentation, encouraging the team to test new formats, channels, and approaches that challenge the status quo.
Drive brand visibility and thought leadership by creating campaigns that position Randstad as an innovator in talent and workforce solutions.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with marketing, PR, and sales teams to align social media efforts with broader business goals, ensuring an integrated approach.
Serve as the regional liaison to global teams, bringing a creative lens to strategy discussions and advocating for market-specific needs.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies and platform representatives, to amplify the impact of social media initiatives.
Community-Centric Brand Building:
Lead the strategy for fostering authentic engagement with social communities, creating meaningful connections that build loyalty and trust.
Implement campaigns that celebrate the diverse voices of North American audiences, ensuring inclusivity and relevance across all channels.
Monitor audience interactions to maintain a positive brand presence while identifying opportunities to deepen engagement.
What you need to bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in social media management, including operationalizing global strategies for regional markets.
Expertise in social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok) and analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of the North American market, including cultural nuances and audience behaviors in the US and Canada.
Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with experience working across geographies and functions.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives

Pay Rate: $114,700.00 - $80,465.00 Annually
Randstad offers competitive pay and bonus structures. Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
