XBOX is looking for a Creative Strategist to direct creative vision for game IP in the XBOX portfolio. In partnership with key stakeholders and leaders, you will drive the narrative, design, and artistic direction to create a cohesive, innovative, and unforgettable experience. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.Required QualificationsAssociate's Degree in Computer Science, Art, Writing, Behavioral Science, Game Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience in game development and design, systems design, content production, or related fieldOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Art, Writing, Behavioral Science, Data Science, Game Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience in game development and design, systems design, content production, or related fieldo OR equivalent experience.Have shipped at least 2 title released to consumers/shipped game.6+ years of experience guiding the creative process for major game releases from concept to launch, with a deep understanding of game design, art, and narrative development.6+years of experience in leadership and people management, including demonstrated ability lead multi-disciplinary teams.Preferred Qualifications12+ years of experience in game development, with a strong track record of leadership on AAA titles as a Creative Director or in a senior creative role.Demonstrated expertise in developing engaging, immersive worlds and compelling storylines that drive player engagement and emotional investment.Experience working with both traditional and cutting-edge game development tools and technologies.Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or other modern game engines.Communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate and advocate for creative vision to both internal teams and external stakeholders.Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and publishing teams to ensure the creative vision aligns with broader company goals.A passion for video games and a deep understanding of current trends in the industry.Game Design IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $314,400 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
