The Position: The Civil3D Specialist will serve under the direction of the Engineering Manager, to lead design teams for a wide range of Site Civil, Land Development and Public infrastructure projects. The candidate should be proficient in the following roles and ready to take on the following responsibilities. Roles and responsibilities Prepare civil infrastructure solutions for ground mounted solar arrays, battery energy storage systems, hydrogen fuel cell stations, reciprocating internal combustion engine plants, and biogas power generation. Develop digital terrain models for solar arrays and access roads using AutoCAD Civil3D. Analyze site restrictions, conditions, easements and power capacity for new photo-voltaic project opportunities. Drafting of construction plans for PV Solar plant layouts, electrical single line diagrams, main equipment elevations, grading plans, drainage swales, erosion control BMPs and access road. Able to produce a complete set of project design drawings to the highest of drafting standards. Collaborate with other civil engineers, design professionals and permitting specialists. Communicate with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, all government levels of regulatory agencies regarding engineering, permitting and site development issues.
