Come and join the Global Video team who is responsible for the Apple TV app including Apple TV+, transactional movies and TV, native channels and 3rd party video apps. Our team is responsible for Apple’s video business, driving overall revenue as well as subscriber growth for Apple TV+, curating and managing the app experience, programming and editorializing while striving to acquire engage and retain subscribers for Apple TV+ and our partners. Description As the Director of Subscriber Growth for Apple TV+, you will be responsible for subscriber acquisition and retention for Apple TV+ and also Major League Soccer Season Pass (MLS). Reporting directly to the Global Head of Video, you will lead a team responsible for developing and executing initiatives aimed at expanding the subscriber base and maximizing customer lifetime value. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive subscriber growth strategies aligned with Apple TV+'s overall business objectives. - Subscriber Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire qualified subscribers through direct and third party channels - Retention and Engagement: Develop strategic programs and optimization initiatives to enhance subscriber retention and engagement - Performance Tracking and Reporting - Roadmap Planning Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of experience in video streaming, subscriber growth, digital marketing, or related roles within the media and entertainment industry. Proven track record of driving subscriber acquisition and retention in a fast-paced, competitive environment Excellent communication with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams A proven leader of successful and high performing teams who is also able to operate within a complex matrix organization A global mindset that understands the nuances across countries and regions and how to scale programs and initiatives globally. A demonstrated people leader who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and guidance. Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications A highly skilled storyteller who is able to build business cases and effective narrative for senior executives A strong analytical brain comfortable leveraging data and insights to inform strategic decision-making. Experienced in balancing multiple priorities, cross functional collaboration and work streams, working with limited resources Outstanding ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness. An individual with natural curiosity and with an innovative and big picture approach Passion and sensibility for the media entertainment industry. Solid understanding of product management and appreciation for roadmaps and engineering developments. Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $242,300 and $388,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
