RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
The Accounting Manager will help to oversee, hire, train and mentor a team of Accountants, AP and AR/Collections staff.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
The Accounting Manager will also review and handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
Analyze financial information and bank reconciliations.
Prepare balance sheets, payroll, journal entries and GL.
Prepare sales and use tax.
Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:
BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
5+ years
GAAP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate Excel
