Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with expertise in Azure and Office 365 to join a growing IT team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the cloud infrastructure and ensuring the efficient operation of Microsoft cloud services. Responsibilities:
Manage and administer Azure cloud services, including VMs, storage accounts, Azure AD, and networking components.
Monitor Azure resources for performance, availability, and security compliance.
Implement and manage Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Administer Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, conditional access policies, and identity protection.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to design and implement Azure solutions that meet business needs and scalability requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure and Office 365 services.
Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance policies within Azure and Office 365 environments.
Plan and execute Azure migrations and integrations with on-premises systems or other cloud platforms.
Document system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role with a strong focus on Azure and Office 365 administration.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services and architecture, including VMs, networking, Azure AD, and security features.
Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Familiarity with Intune is a nice plus.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
Microsoft Intune experience
Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Genesis Cloud) is a plus.
