Part Time Payroll Specialist
Our client is a non profit organization, and they are looking for a payroll specialist to join their team! This role is roughly 20 hours per week and the pay rate is $30/hr.

Reports directly to the CFO
Main Responsibilities of the Part Time Payroll Specialist:
The part time payroll specialist will review and reconcile all payroll data uploads prior to submission, manage garnishment processing, and generate and verify year-end reports.
Oversee the time and attendance system, updating payroll records with tax withholdings, benefits, PTO accruals, leaves, and employment status changes.
Serve as the primary contact for payroll vendor communications.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate employee data flow and updates.
Generate and distribute comprehensive reports, including hours worked, overtime, leave balances, headcount, and retirement contributions.
The part time payroll specialist will also maintain employee payroll records, ensuring timely and accurate entry of all employee updates, with verification for authorization and policy compliance.
Process general ledger journal entries for payroll and pension accounts with each payroll cycle.
Preferred Qualifications of the Part Time Payroll Specialist:
Bachelors degree is preferred
At least 2 years of payroll experience
ADP experience
Ideally, this person has experience processing payroll for 100+ employees
