RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR:
Perform financial audits to evaluate compliance with technical accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
Develop and execute test plans to assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.
Provide audit and liaison support to external auditors during their financial statement audits.
Conduct technical accounting research and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Assist with the preparation of Audit Committee materials.
Leverage technology to enhance audit processes and improve overall efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR ROLE:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years of experience in public accounting, auditing, or consulting.
Knowledge of SOX/operational audit objectives and compliance frameworks.
Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
Preferred Traits:
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Solution-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Motivated team player with a collaborative approach.
Big 4 experience or CPA a plus
