Overview of the Property Management role:
• Financial Record-Keeping: Accurately record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances and identify any discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Budget Management: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with financial plans.
• Invoicing and Payments: Generate and process invoices for tenants, contractors, and property owners, and manage timely payments and collections.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and track expenses related to property maintenance, repairs, and other operational costs.
• Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and resolving any billing issues.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
Preferred Qualifications for the Property Manager:
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Prior experience in property management or real estate is a plus.
