ROLE SUMMARY
CorePower Yoga is looking for a Marketing Intern who can support our marketing team on social media and partnership projects.
This role is temporary through the Spring of 2024 with the possibility to extend the contract and requires 15-20 hours/week. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Social and community management:
- Support the Social Media Team in scheduling the monthly social calendar in Sprout Social and posting on our social channels
- Support the Social Media Team in brainstorming post ideas using social trends and competitive brand research, including concepts for key holidays
- Engage with followers and non-followers to grow brand love
- Reply or "like" all positive and neutral comments and DMs across all social platforms
- Flag any customer experience or public relations-related comments
- Create UTM URL tags as needed
- Create and post Stories following the calendar and as ad hoc needs arise for social amplification
- Support the Social Media Team with creative briefing needs and content calendar planning for organic social, using the project management platform, Asana
- Generate content/captions for social posts as needed by team
- Review and provide feedback for social media creative
- Support the Marketing team with partnership research, planning, logistics and any related events
- Marketing, communications or social media experience or equivalent education path
- Access to a laptop computer and mobile phone
- Solid creative writing and editing skills
- Understanding of brand-appropriate language and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Ability to stay organized and attend to details
- A self-driven, team player who takes initiative
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Affinity and understanding of the CorePower Yoga brand, and yoga and fitness industries
- Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.; knowledge of Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Sprout Social, Asana and Canva is also useful
- Must be able to work in a stationary position, move and walk around event and office spaces, and lift occasionally to 25 lbs

- Unpaid internship for school credit only.
