These complementary capabilities will also serve to connect employees and advisors to the business strategy and engage and inform stakeholders about all the ways in which the business directly drives Prudential’s purpose, mission, vision and value-creation strategy for existing retail customers and prospective consumers and advisors across the country.This leader will report to the Head of Prudential Advisors, Marketing & Communications, and will interface with Prudential’s U.S. Businesses Marketing and Communications teams.The current work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business, currently at least two days per week in Newark, NJ. Your manager will provide additional details.What you can expect:Marketing leadership responsibilities will include:Individually contribute and lead a small team that develops and executes relevant non-product marketing support to enable growth/success of the Prudential Advisors business, including but not limited to managing programs and maintaining assets that support advisor brand and firm value proposition in local markets across the country;Leverage Marketing and Brand enterprise capabilities to deliver on Prudential Advisors’ digital (pru.com, advisor homepages, prudentialadvisors.com) and advisor recruitment marketing needs;Help develop prospect marketing content that can be leveraged for leads management, lead nurture and execution across Prudential Advisors;Ensure Prudential brand standards are met as materials are made available through the LPL platform to advisors and firms.Communications responsibilities will include:Lead a small team that helps develops and executes the internal and external communications strategy;Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively tell our story and harness the voice of our business leaders in multiple formats (e.g., speaking engagements, internal announcements, social media, etc.);Create and distribute relevant and meaningful content to stakeholder groups;Executive speech writing, video script and presentation development, etc.Help develop and nurture strategic relationships with media channels, thought leadership and industry publications and editors to influence reach of our story, and amplify our value proposition to advisors and clients, as well as the Prudential brand.Support execution of events and internal engagement forums for employees, advisors and other constituents including but not limited to Town Hall meetings and conferences.What you’ll need:7+ years Communications and Marketing experience, with at least two in a corporate / sales distribution environment in a highly regulated industry, financial services preferred.Ability to understand business priorities and identify how to build and deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns through multiple channels to bring clarity to the agreed upon priorities.Writing experience, including but not limited to writing and editing communications, executive speech and script writingHands-on executive communications experience, as well as performance marketing knowledge and experience.Strong business acumen and experience executing with strong expense management discipline.Exemplary collaboration skills.Influential executive presence and business savvy.Experience leading a team.What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00.
