We are seeking an innovative, results-oriented product manager to drive the vision and development of digital advertising tools. The Senior Product Manager Technical role is the product lead for marketing measurement services, ensuring that Amazons digital marketing programs are able to effectively predict and measure KPIs critical to evaluating the success of marketing initiatives. This role will partner with product and engineering teams to develop new marketing tools that make Amazons marketing smarter and more relevant to our customers. The role is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this program and working with strategic partners to create and build innovative experiences. We influence Amazons most strategic businesses, and we have visibility with senior leaders across Amazon.
This is a high impact role, and to be successful you will need to be innovative in your thinking and technically savvy. You will need to be effective at cross-team collaboration, building consensus, and communicating a vision. You will need to have a solid understanding of the art and science of digital advertising; and be comfortable working with complex challenges of petabyte data scale, diverse products, and a global footprint. You will need to have problem solving skills, business judgment, technical depth and demonstrated experience leading initiatives that involve multiple cross-functional teams. You will need to thrive playing a leading role on a highly visible team.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role include:
Establish an industry-leading product vision, and evangelize to senior leadership.
Develop a roadmap and feature prioritization for building marketing tools within Amazons proprietary advertising platform.
Partner with key stakeholders across Amazon to identify opportunities for delivering on our strategic objectives.
Define user stories and product requirements; while contributing to the technical design of new product features.
Influence and collaborate with multiple engineering and science teams to deliver against aggressive roadmaps, execute technical programs, plan product launches, and develop process improvements.
Proactively identify opportunities to extend products beyond internal marketing to benefit the broader Ads Flywheel.
Be a thought-leader that identifies trends in the industry and anticipates the need for future product innovation.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience developing products in online advertising or ecommerce businesses.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
