This is an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and our Boston Fleet team. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, positive and resilient to join our Fleet team.As a valued member of the Game Day Staff, the PA Announcer will be responsible for:

  • Game Day Announcements - providing clear, enthusiastic, and engaging commentary, including player introductions, goals, penalties, and other game-related information and promotions.
  • Fan Engagement - Interact with fans through various promotions, contests to foster a sense of community and excitement.
  • Event Preparation - Attend pre-game meetings to review game scripts, understand promotional events, and coordinate with show caller.


Successful Hype squad members should have:
  • PA experience or similar role
  • Strong ability to receive direction in fast-paced environment
  • Technical Proficiency - familiarity with headsets and headset language


Work Type:
Part time game day staff. This position will be part of the game day staff for the Boston Fleet, working on game days for our home game regular season and any post season home games should the team make the playoffs. This position requires some work in the evenings and weekends.

Pay: $300 to $350 per game
