Overview of the Staff Accountant role:
Responsible for maintaining the monthly project invoicing and billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with clients to resolve any billing inquiries and ensure prompt payment.
Assist Controller with month-end close activities, including working with the general ledger, entering journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
Track and maintain company credit cards and expenses.
Responsibilities for preparing the weekly cash forecast reports.
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Finance or equivalent work experience.
2-5 years of applicable accounting experience, ideally in construction or project billing.
Proficiency with ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary $65,000 - $75,000 based upon experience
Comprehensive benefits package and bonus potential.
