About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a well-known government contractor with contracts supporting various government agencies Opportunity to work with highly experienced team Our client needs additional support due to the current workload Senior Accountant Senior Accountant will complete journal entries Senior Accountant will assist with bank reconciliation Senior Accountant will assist with fiscal year end adjustments Senior Accountant will be responsible for AP CFO will code the invoices Senior Accountant will go to Unanet to see how coded previously since 99% of invoices are repeat Senior Accountant will process the invoices for approval and payment. Senior Accountant will process AP on the 15th and at end of the month (end of month are the subcontractor payments). Typical volume = 20 invoices/month Senior Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects as requested Requirements: US Citizenship is required 5+ years of accounting experience. Someone experienced working in an office environment and who understands the process and relationship with the transactions and the GL. Previous government contractor experience is a strong plus Previous Unanet or Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus - MUST have previous large ERP system experience Basic to Intermediate Excel skills Degree is a plus but NOT required if someone has the relevant work experience Personality Fit: Ability to ask questions if not sure about something Pleasant personality Willing to answer the phones Team player Flexibility and understanding - some structure in accounting but should be able to adapt should something else need to be prioritized Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting job opportunity! #INSEP2024
