Key Responsibilities of the Controller: Oversee the full accounting process, ensuring all financials are GAAP compliant. Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with government regulations. Manage and supervise staff, ensuring effective and efficient task execution. Lead both internal and external audits to guarantee compliance and accuracy. Stay current on new accounting standards and ensure their successful implementation. Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance internal controls to optimize processes. What they are looking For in a Controller: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification (preferred). Recent experience in government accounting is a plus.
