Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role: Responsibilities: Process and review invoices (100+ daily) responsible for verbal and email correspondence with vendors to resolve any issues validate invoices, ensure they are entered into Cost Point to be sent out for approval Manage and maintain vendor relationships, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly. review and apply proper time and resources/ PO's to invoices Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and reporting requirements. work directly with a team of 6 accounts payable team members comfortable with high volume data entry Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist: Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role. Proven track record of managing a high volume of invoices and vendor accounts. personable and customer service driven Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
