Senior Payroll Specialist
Fully Onsite - Noblesville, IN
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

PE backed custom manufacturer operating in 10 different markets
Ability to make the position your own and manage processes
Work closely with Controller, CFO, and VP of HR - high visibility to leadership
Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist:
The Senior Payroll Specialist will process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 800 employees, including union and non-union staff.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will review and verify timesheets and payroll data submitted by HR.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will compare and validate employee benefits, timecards, and deductions for accuracy.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will ensure all changes and updates to payroll information are properly recorded in the general ledger.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will generate and deliver detailed payroll reports as needed.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will prepare and deliver accurate payroll-related reports to management, ensuring data is clear and actionable.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will ensure compliance with payroll reporting requirements.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLL ROLE:
Associates Degree in Accounting Required, Bachelors Degree Preferred
5+ years working within payroll and payroll processes
Manufacturing or Construction Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Union Payroll experience is a plus
Experience with ADP, Ceridian or Paychex is preferred
