Hybrid schedule. The Accounting Manager responsibilities : Supervises A/R, A/P, personnel. Responsible for reconciliations with vendors (i.e., Hotels, Transport vendors, Travel Agents, etc.) Responsible for overseeing accounting procedures, internal controls (implementing, monitoring, enhancing), analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement. Randomly audits workflow to assure that all accounting transactions are appropriate. Supervises or prepares monthly journal entries. Prepares financial statements. Supervises or prepares general ledger reconciliations. May train staff on internal control procedures; assist Controller as needed. Reviews monthly closing process Works on special projects, if requested; assists with yearly audit preparation. Qualifications of the Accounting Manager: 5-10 years of corporate accounting experience Supervisory experience highly preferred Bilingual - English and Spanish Hospitality Industry experience is a PLUS but not required.
