Meshberg Group, an award-winning Interior Design and Architectural firm located in Miami and Brooklyn with projects nationwide is currently seeking an experienced professional for a Senior-level Interior Designer/Interior Architect position for the Miami office.
The position is for a project manager/designer for multi-family amenity-focused projects in south Florida and across the country. The role will be a senior designer working with the Design Director and Principal, coming up with conceptual design narratives and design concepts for entire buildings interiors. Materials and lighting choices, as well as Programming and layouts of amenity spaces. Space planning experience is a plus. Will require the ability to modle in REVIT create designs, lighting plans. furniture plans and work with a jr staff and delegate responsibility to execute projects.
The candidate must have the following:
- a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- a minimum of 7 years of related work experience (and at least 1 year in one firm) in the United States. Experience in Multi-Family residential, Hospitality, and construction documents is preferred.
• Significant experience in selection, coordination and completion of FF&E specifications is required, preferably including Workplace and Multi-Family Housing
• Experience in graphic rendering, selecting materials and finishes for FF&E
• Thorough understanding of the preparing specifications and preliminary budget of FF&E
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with building codes, ADA, interior construction/detailing knowledge and quickly establishing rapport with procurement agents, suppliers, contractors, and consultants to resolve issues
- Must be proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD and Adobe Suites.
- 3D Modelling (Sketch up)
- Must be able to work on selections, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess strong knowledge of design process and construction and the ability to communicate the design to clients and staff
- Highly resourceful problem solver and quick learner.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Reliable focused and detail-oriented.

- Strong verbal and written skills
- Develop concept/mood boards showing materials and sketches into design presentations and project execution
- Develop from pre-design through construction documentation.
- Research material selections, and specifications for review.
- Review shop drawings for construction.
- Strong lighting specification knowledge
- Maintain logs and manage the workflow of projects for job duration.
- Onsite field measurements and site visits.
- Clear communication with both internal team members and consultants throughout the project duration regarding design.
