Gamewell Mechanical is looking for skilled individuals with Mechanical Designers with Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience. This role is responsible for laying out complex mechanical and plumbing systems for pharmaceutical and other large manufacturing facilities in the high tech, micro-electronics, bio-pharma, food/beverage, and automotive industries.

What You'll Do: Layout HVAC ductwork, pipe, plumbing, and hanger supports using Autodesk Plant3D and Revit software.
Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and sprinkler pipe within the facility being constructed using the Autodesk Navisworks program.
Create HVAC ductwork drawings and pre-fabrication pipe spool drawings for shop fabrication.
Design field install orthographic drawings, 3D isometric drawings, and section views with dimensions and elevations.
Create mechanical schedules within Plant3D and Revit to generate material schedules for Project Managers.
Create pipe, fitting, and accessories schedules to show on pre-fabricated pipe spool drawings.
Set-up clash detection within the Autodesk Navis Manage software.
Work with Project Managers to show actual submittal of equipment and material within the Revit model.
Participate in project coordination meetings. Contribute ideas and resolutions to project related issues that are presented in the meetings.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring: 3-5 years mechanical design experience such as layout of HVAC ductwork, pipe, and plumbing.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
Must have experience reading blueprints, riser diagrams, and P&IDs.
Must have excellent computer skills. Experience with Autodesk Plant3D, Revit, and Navisworks is preferred.
Extensive work history of HVAC mechanical systems and plumbing design is preferred.
Physical Requirements Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
