This graphic design position is a production focused role that supports a variety of operational and technical areas including, but not limited to, prepress, templates and executing wayfinding and other sign solutions. This role is embedded within the marketing graphic design team.
Summary
Develops and executes creative solutions for a variety of distribution channels that appropriately and effectively target patient segments and uphold the Sanford brand.

This graphic design position is a production focused role that supports a variety of operational and technical areas including, but not limited to, prepress, templates and executing wayfinding and other sign solutions. This role is embedded within the marketing graphic design team.
Produces various collateral, including advertisements, newsletters, brochures, forms, posters and other related projects for Sanford. Possesses strong graphic design knowledge and demonstrates creativity in applying it. Exhibits outstanding skills in designated software. Displays thorough understanding and knowledge of the Sanford brand and appropriate application and utilization of the brand. Communicates effectively with a variety of clients.
Collaborates within the design team and greater marketing team to conceptualize and produce appropriate solutions for a target audience. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Possesses flexibility and understanding of time management, practicing it efficiently on a daily basis.
Displays effective verbal and written communication skills, effective team relationships and understands interdependent skill needs. Possesses vision and values compatible with the organization. Embraces systems thinking. Manages change skillfully. Understands a systems approach to problem solving and process improvement-involving staff. Remains knowledgeable on computer hardware and software and/or equipment advancements. Remains skillful in printing and graphics.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably from an accredited institution in graphic design, commercial art, industrial illustration, fine arts or a related field.
Two years graphic design experience required, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
Possess computer skills and proficiency in all aspects of computer-based graphic design including the ability to effectively and creatively utilize programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator as well as remaining up-to-date on changes to similar programs in the graphic design industry.
Experience in digital photography and output, scanning, archiving, HTML/web site design, layout, printing production, phone manipulation, color, typestyles, composition and illustration preferred.
