Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our collaborative and innovative team, focusing on designing intuitive and efficient graphical user interfaces (GUI) for our state-of-the-art ultrasound systems. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating user-centered designs that enhance the usability and effectiveness of our ultrasound systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance with medical device regulations.
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, your responsibilities are:
Conduct user research and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for ultrasound system interfaces
Develop user flows, interaction models, and information architecture for complex medical applications
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to define and implement new features
Design visually appealing and intuitive interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines and medical standards
Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and data analysis
Stay updated on UX/UI design trends and best practices in medical device interfaces
Required Qualifications: BS in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
5+ years industry experience in UX/UI design, preferably in medical devices or healthcare technology
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and visual design skills
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
Experience with design systems and component-based design approaches
Knowledge of human factors principles and medical device usability standards (e.g., IEC 62366)
Passionate about medical devices, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing interfaces for medical imaging systems, especially Ultrasound
Knowledge in medical imaging (Ultrasound, PET, SPECT, CT, MR, etc.) and related clinical workflows
Knowledge of FDA and CE regulations for medical device user interfaces
Familiarity with touchscreen and gesture-based interactions
