Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: 100 % Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Must have Skills:

Technical Writer - Website building, Navigation, SEO, Markdown, Jekyll/Hugo, documentation, confluence jira

Education/Experience:

• Must have 3 years of experience in technical writing.
• Must have 5 years of experience in a technical writing position, preferred.
• Degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience, preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, structure, and maintain comprehensive documentation websites for our IT products and services.
• Create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, technology documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Use Markdown and Static site generators (e.g., Jekyll, Hugo) to format and publish documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.
• Educate and mentor non-writers on best practices for writing good documentation, including style guides, formatting, and content organization.
