Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company internationally, due to an employee leave they are seeking an immediate back-fill to their corporate accountant role.
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with audit and maintaining relevant accounting documentation.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with financial disclosure reporting to corporate
Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits
Prepares internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information
Maintains and updates the ERP fixed asset register, depreciation (tax and accounting), CIP and matches to supporting documentation and month end reconciliation
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Assist the accounting manager as needed
Job Requirements:
Experience / Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
2+ years of accounting experience
Experience with Great Plains, B1, JDE or equivalent ERP system preferred
Working knowledge of GAAP
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Work Model:
Hybrid, with 3 days in office required per week
Compensation:
$75,000 -$90,000k annual salary
