Inventory Management: Oversee the valuation and reconciliation of inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of cost budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Product Costing: Calculate and maintain accurate product costs, considering direct and indirect costs. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost accounting procedures. Cost Control: Collaborate with operations teams to implement cost control measures and monitor adherence to budgets. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present reports on cost trends, budget performance, and cost-saving initiatives to management. Experience Preferred of the Cost Accountant : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
