Our client has been in business for over 20 years and is still expanding, working with various clients from government agencies to the private sector. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for handling multiple locations, importing and generating invoices, handling vendor/internal communication, maintaining files, performing data entry, and applying for payments.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
Handle accounts receivable functions for multiple locations, including invoicing and payment processing.
Import and generate invoices accurately and promptly.
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding billing and payment inquiries.
Maintain files and documentation related to accounts receivable.
Perform data entry and apply payments to appropriate customer accounts.
Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related fields.
Experience with Sage 300 (or similar accounting software) is a plus.
Basic to intermediate Excel skills for data entry and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
