Position summary:
The Marketing Operations Manager is a key leader within the Global Brand Marketing, Creative & Studio Design team, acting as the driving force behind operational efficiency for all global marketing launches and strategic initiatives. This dynamic role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker who thrives in optimizing processes, systems, and workflows across marketing and creative teams. You'll lead a talented team of project managers and creative traffic managers, collaborating closely with Brand Management, Creative, Global Digital, PR/Comms, and Regional Marketing to ensure seamless execution of projects on time and within budget. As the bridge between creative vision and operational execution, you'll leverage technology to streamline processes, optimize project management tools, and create dashboards that enhance reporting and accountability. Educational requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, Business Administration or a related field. PMP certification preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing operations, creative operations, or project management, preferably in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management experience, with a proven ability to develop and guide high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of project management software (e.g. Hive, Asana, Monday.com, Wrike) and workflow optimization tools. Strong understanding of creative/design processes and workflows to ensure smooth project execution. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimize cross-functional workflows. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Experience in vendor management, particularly with print production and external creative agencies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and manage dashboards and reports. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Global mindset with experience managing international teams and operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms including Teams, PowerPoint, Word & Excel Essential Duties:

Lead and manage a team of project managers and creative traffic managers, providing day-to-day oversight and longer-term professional development. Establish team goals, priorities, and timelines, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business objectives. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing mentorship and guidance to team members. Marketing Operations Optimization
Own the relationship with the project management (PM) software vendor, optimizing tool setup and usage to enhance workflow across the global marketing and regional activation teams. Implement best practices for utilizing the PM software, ensuring proper tool usage, enforcing workflows, and identifying opportunities for system improvements. Develop and facilitate training programs to ensure effective adoption and usage of PM software and systems by internal teams. Process Development & Workflow Optimization
Continuously evaluate and refine global marketing systems and processes, ensuring seamless connections between the product, brand, creative and marketing teams. Oversee the creation, communication, and enforcement of marketing timelines, ensuring alignment across teams and adherence to deadlines. Streamline and optimize cross-functional processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce time to market. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage key print vendor relationships, ensuring the timely and cost-effective production of merchandising and collateral. Oversee the creative team's collaboration with print vendors, ensuring quality standards and project timelines are met. Act as the main point of contact for external vendors, negotiating contracts, reviewing performance, and ensuring that vendor services align with business goals. Project & Activity Tracking & Reporting
Develop and manage dashboards within the PM software to track and report on all marketing activities, including turnaround times, number of assets/outputs, and project progress. Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for creative and marketing operations, identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and resource needs. Provide senior leadership with accurate and actionable insights on marketing project performance and workflow efficiency. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with the product, brand, and regional teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and objectives. Act as a liaison between creative and marketing operations teams to ensure that creative outputs meet strategic goals and brand guidelines. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Drive innovation within marketing operations, staying up-to-date on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends. Identify opportunities to optimize creative processes, project timelines, and marketing systems to improve overall productivity and output quality. Lead initiatives to improve the scalability of marketing operations as the business grows globally. Additional Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with marketing and brand guidelines across all deliverables and activities. Manage and enforce standardized processes for project intake, approvals, and quality control. Lead regular project status meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project progress, roadblocks, and upcoming milestones. Maintain a high level of operational transparency, keeping key stakeholders informed of risks, delays, and progress. Work environment:
Predominantly open office environment with some exposure to manufacturing areas Based in Atlanta but would need to spend 2-4 days per month in LaGrange office Hybrid work schedule: Minimum 3 days/week in Atlanta/Lagrange office with optional work from home 2 days/week Requires flexibility to attend meetings and calls outside of standard working hours to accommodate teams across different regions and time zones.
