Home Improvement Showroom in need of an experienced & professional Kitchen & Bathroom Designer. 2-3 days a week. Week days are negotiable but Saturday is a mandatory short day, 9am - 3pm. .
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients about their home improvement and design needs
- Create computer-aided renderings of living spaces.
- Conduct telephone and in-person screening of potential clients
- Updating the current 2020 design software with current and new catalogs
- Help to keep most current samples and offerings on the showroom floor
- introduce/research new and innovative home improvement trends
Qualifications:
- PROFICIENCY in 20/20 design software is a MUST (preferably the latest version 13.8)
- Also, SketchUp, Revit, and other design software experience is helpful
- Good verbal, written communication and professional appearance required
- Prior experience in residential kitchen and bath design
- Experience with custom cabinetry is a must
