SteelHead Management is a full-service property management company formed in 2016 to manage multifamily and mixed-use assets owned by the Holladay Corporation and Spy Rock Real Estate Group, both of which are active developers. SteelHead’s team is comprised of best-in-class personnel, both at the corporate and site level with a team-first and people-first culture. Steelhead does not manage third-party assets and focuses on NOI and cash flow optimization within a portfolio of owned assets. SteelHead is responsible for managing day-to-day operations for a portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets. The property management division manages over 3,000 residential units and 200,000 SF of commercial space in the Richmond, Tidewater, and DC markets.

Job Summary:

We seek a talented and motivated professional to join our team as a Regional Marketing Manager in Richmond, VA. This is a terrific opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced real estate organization and immediately make an impact. This position will report to the assigned Regional Director.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials, signage, and collateral
  • Process all new signage orders and follow through with the installation
  • Assist with creating advertising materials (e.g., rack cards, direct mail campaigns), while maintaining the brand guidelines
  • Manage social media user accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Yelp, and GMB. (change hours, add images, provide access to new users at site level)
  • Monitor the site’s monthly social calendars to ensure and assist with unique, creative, upscale, interactive resident events
  • Submit/complete RealPage Platform, Engrain, ILS support tickets as needed
  • Weekly Website Audits & Corrections 
  • Weekly Prospect Phone Audits 
  • Monitor and Send Concerning Reviews to the Regional Director 
  • Weekly Report for assigned Regional Portfolio 
  • Update/Maintain Portfolio G5 websites (property specials, employee changes, bios, site hours of operation, new local advantage members, images, etc.)
  • Stay current on social updates, platform changes, stats, strategies, etc., and share when appropriate 
  • Schedule Employee Headshots & Update Websites w/ New Images 
  • Send out the monthly Employee Spotlight, Birthday Spotlight, Anniversary Spotlight, and Post to Social Media
  • Experience with Graphic Design preferable
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and career experience. Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of marketing channels and best practices, including Google Ads, social media platforms, email marketing platforms, search engine optimization, and traditional media
  • Experience in multifamily industry, or related industries is preferred, but not required. We encourage you to demonstrate how your unique mix of marketing skills is the perfect fit
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with and support corporate and regional teams
  • Ability to tackle complex tasks independently with sound judgment, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence
  • Exceptional project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
