The Eastern Bank Marketing team are the voice and stewards of the Eastern Bank brand. Whether there is a campaign that needs advertising or social support, a sponsorship in our community, or a press opportunity, the Marketing Department supports the organization. And with our experience in the communications field, we help internal and external partners do more good in how we emulate the Eastern Bank brand.

The Marketing Associate III will oversee project management and drive Eastern’s awareness, familiarity and consideration set with brand and product advertising and marketing campaigns via omnichannel strategies including but not limited to broadcast, radio, display, social media, paid search, email, merchandising and web. This role, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Brand Activation, Creative Services and Events, is responsible for the day-to-day campaign management of advertising and marketing strategies and programs in support of Eastern Bank’s overall sales and financial goals. This role will work with key internal partners including Product Delivery, Business & Commercial Lending, Retail, Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation, as well as closely with agency partners and internal Marketing partners.

The candidate needs to have strong, proven hands-on experience in digital marketing communications including management of social media campaigns, website content, content calendars and email campaigns.

Focus on creative/brand and media/social/search digital, working with the bank’s creative and media agencies to coordinate advertising and campaigns. Experience in managing creative campaigns is a must-have and some agency or corporate Marketing experience is required.

Candidate is expected to project manage multiple omni-channel campaigns and projects with direct campaign management responsibilities for channels listed above and branch merchandising. This individual is also responsible for the management of all Eastern local sponsorships, working with community and charitable partners to create:

  • Merchandising
  • Event planning
  • HubSpot – registration
  • AMP Backup – primary and secondary branches deployment (upload campaigns and user lists)
  • Robohead – compliance system support / administration/ training
  • Brightcove backup

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years’ experience in Consumer and/or B2B marketing role, corporate or agency.
  • Experience in Financial Services marketing is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience managing creative campaigns is highly desired.

Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills—both oral and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other database management programs as necessary.
  • Experience with invoicing, billing, onboarding is desired.
  • Highly detail oriented with superb organizational skills and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to be effective independently.
  • Maintains professional demeanor in all situations and proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer/client service and responsiveness.
