Overview

Cambridge has recruited talented interns from across the country to join us during the summer for a 10-12 week internship. Each year, over 35 interns join us for a paid summer internship experience at our home offices in Fairfield, Iowa and Phoenix, Arizona. The Next Step internship program gives students practical insight into the financial services industry and allows students to gain practical knowledge in their field. Students are partnered with a professional mentor, supervisor, and executive leader to gain networking opportunities and learn from industry professionals. At the conclusion of the internship, each intern will have the opportunity to present on their experience and a specific project of their choice.

Essential Duties

The Marketing and Communications team facilitates financial professional and associate-directed communications. This team provides guidance on public relations and creative marketing initiatives while developing marketing collateral for the firm and its financial professionals. The team leads the firm's initiatives in social media, internal website design, communication strategy, and both national and local advertising campaigns.

We have one Digital Marketing Internship available in the Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA office.

As the Digital Marketing Intern, you will:Gain a comprehensive and compelling look into digital marketing, public relations, and creative marketing from a leading financial services companySupport the development of email marketing campaignsProvide website data analytics and visuals using Adobe Analytics and Tableau to help target marketing effortsConduct search engine optimization audit, competitor analysis, and customer persona testing environment to evaluate and optimize Cambridge's current digital marketing effortsWork with the marketing automation team to setup email nurturing and lead generation campaignsSupport the assessment and reporting of marketing data related to digital traffic stats ranging from websites and email campaigns to social mediaWork with marketing leadership and provide suggestions of specific segments of our audience of independent financial professionals located across the countryCollaborate with various cross-departmental stakeholders on special projects as the Marketing and Communications team supports various strategic projects across the firmCollaborate with associates, leadership, and executives within the department and serve as a contributing partner in team meetings, project meetings, and ongoing Cambridge activitiesEducation & Experience

Students studying data analytics, marketing, business administration, communications, economics, or similar majors will likely be the most successful in this role.

Compensation: $16-20 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate's qualifications, the Company's operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
