Job summary :
CWS Apartment Homes has a wonderful opportunity for a Marketing Communications Associate to be based in Austin or Dallas.
The Marketing Communications Associate is responsible for writing, reviewing, and executing effective external communication efforts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Associate will develop and implement external communication strategies and plans that engage residents and prospective residents. This role will manage all media requests and crisis communication.

(Are as follows but are not limited to and may not be all-inclusive, depending upon the demands of the company.) Write and manage external communication. Create proactive and reactive communication guides and materials to support Operations and Risk Management. Work in partnership with Operations for incident response and serve as a subject matter expert on rapid customer outreach and customer crisis communication. Ensure written content follows editorial, voice, and tone guidelines. Write, audit, and optimize website copy for the CWS portfolio. Monitor and respond to online reviews for the CWS portfolio. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge SEO and content best practices. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects. Resourceful; able to take initiative in working with various departments, individuals and leaders. Able to adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Able to create and maintain a professional and ethical atmosphere. Own a valid driver's license with good driving record and current automobile insurance. Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills. Able to travel and required to attend company functions in other cities. Minimum
Qualifications:
College degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Experience in supporting marketing and operations. Experience in public relations, communications, and marketing concepts. Operational experience in multi-family arena preferred. Supervisory
