PV Ads CX team owns personalizing Ads experience for a customer on Prime Video. We work on balancing customer satisfaction, and engagement with monetization objectives by applying machine learning based solutions to customize the Ads experience. We work with millions of customer's data to understand customer behavior, business need, and formulate ML based solution to delight our customers.
Successful candidates have a solid background in machine learning. They have experience working on big data, and neural net models. They have experience owning and maintaining highly-available, mission-critical systems. Experience in Advertising domain is a plus. You will need to have strong problem-solving and technical abilities, great communication skills, a motivation to learn, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment with excellent analytical reasoning skills.
Key job responsibilities
As a MLE-II on the team, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating closely with Scientists to develop ML based solution for Ads Customer Experience on Prime Video.
Building solutions to process massive data, scale machine learning models, while defining and optimizing criteria critical to the success of the customer experience
Driving cross-team initiatives and leading a team of developers on key initiatives.
Mentoring engineers on the team.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with Advertising domain, plus if it is in a Video Streaming domain.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
