Position Summary:At FCB Chicago, the Associate Creative Director, or ACD, provides overall administrative and strategic direction to his or her group. The ACD functions as the chief daily creative contact with the account service and client representatives on the accounts under their supervision. The ACD supervises and directs the activities of members of their groups in order to maintain FCB Chicago's standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability, while always working to achieve the client's goals. The ACD reports to the Creative Director and/or VP Creative Director.Responsibilities:Develop and implement creative strategyCritique and direct revision of creative workPrepare creative work for internal and client reviewApprove of creative work before implementation of overall creative strategyPrepare and facilitate creative presentations to both internal stakeholders and clientsAssist the Creative Director in the supervision of the creative teamInterview prospective talent, offer feedback and approve of new hires brought onto the teamProvide detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets, leading to stable and profitable accountsParticipate in new business efforts as directedRequirements:6+ years of relevant industry experienceExtensive experience in marketing communications, advertising, and sales promotionExtensive experience in the creation and production of superior marketing communication materialsBachelor's degree and/or relevant experience requiredFCB has adopted a hybrid working environment.
