We are hiring a Director of Sales at our Autograph Hotel, located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Known as the Oaklander, this 10 story and 167 room hotel, resides on Bigelow Boulevard, in Pittsburgh, PA. It is adjacent to the famed Pittsburgh Athletic Association, and is conveniently located near Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh, in the popular Oakland neighborhood.
The hotel's boutique and upscale rooms feature a local flare with sitting rooms, and our guests are treated to sumptuous Turkish 100% cotton linens. We seek to provide our guests with a unique lodging experience, with unparalleled service and comfort, while having taken in the sights, sounds and smells of Steel City. The Oaklander features a 10th brasserie atop the hotel, overlooking one of Pittsburgh's iconic neighborhoods, where our Executive Chef creates French all-day plates and dishes with locally sourced meats, expertly prepared seafood and vegetables. There is also an on-site coffee shop, work-out facility, and parking garage for our guests.
The ideal candidate is a service-oriented, motivated, passionate, and collaborative individual who has a deep understanding of how to continue to develop strong relationships with customers, how to effectively prospect, and how to positively and creatively lead teams. The DOS will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth.

Pay Range: $102,610 - $128,263

Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest quality of service to our customers at all times.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
- Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.
- Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.
- Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines .
- Effectively lead and manage a sales team.
Qualifications:
- CI/TY Systems experience.
- Marriott Sales Experience, preferred Autograph Collection.
- Hospitality Industry expertise.
- Experience Managing sales teams.
- Experience in Marketing, Brand management, Advertising.
- Strategic planning.
