At Colgate-Palmolive, we offer an exceptional Internship Program within our Global Information Technology organization. This internship is a six-month paid hybrid program, starting in January and continuing into the spring semester as part-time with opportunity to extend. As an integral part of our team, interns will gain exposure to enterprise business practices and modern technologies. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, building, and iterating analytic solutions that align with our strategic directives and inspire our business partners to use visualization tools independently.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop visualizations, operational monitoring dashboards, and reports to communicate complex actionable data insights to stakeholders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data visualization solutions that meet their needs

Create and maintain documentation of data visualization processes, tools, and best practices

Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions

Requirements:

Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at a college or university with a graduation date of or later than May 2025

Majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field

Documentation of authorization to work in the United States, not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

A minimum GPA of 2.8

Expertise in writing complex SQL queries to pull data into visualization tools

Expertise in Domo or other visualization tools(e.g. Google Data Studio, Tableau) is a strong plus

Excellent communication skills and strong technical/business acumen

Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.

A strong ability to tell compelling stories through data

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Capability to work independently and solve problems creatively, with a sense of accountability

Must be available to work hybrid at our Piscataway, NJ office location throughout the entire internship

Every Tuesday or Wednesday, specific hours are flexible

This position requires a 6-month commitment (January-June)

Must be available to work 15 hours/week during the academic semester

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $23,00 - $32,50 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
