DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Internship Summary:
The Digital Marketing Intern will support the Corporate Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability team with strengthening corporate brand awareness for key initiatives and fostering stakeholder trust through targeted campaigns on social media and digital platforms. This role offers hands-on experience to apply existing social media marketing skills while staying up-to-date with industry trends in a dynamic and evolving landscape.
Internship Job Duties:
- Paid Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across our social channels, contributing to placement, targeting, and deployment to enhance visibility.
- Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging, high-quality content (text, images, video, etc.) across all social media platforms, aligned with our brand voice and goals. Collaborate with the Brand & Digital team to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and timely. Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and platform updates to bring new content ideas to the table.
- Analytics and Metrics Analysis: Analyze and interpret the performance metrics of paid campaigns, utilizing tools such as on-platform analytics, google analytics, or similar platforms to extract insights and aid in data-driven decision making.
- Reporting: Collaborate on generating comprehensive reports outlining campaign performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations for the team.
- Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor and track campaign performance regularly, comparing against benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimizations to enhance performance and achieve campaign objectives.
Internship Qualifications:
- Education: Enrolled in a degree program during the spring term preceding internship.
- Major/Specializations: Major or specialization in Marketing required. Specialization in Digital Marketing preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving & analytical skills.
The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $16.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $20.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour
The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois (Chicago area), Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington (Seattle area):
Student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $17.00 per hour
Student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour
Student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $36.40 per hour
Student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $40.30 per hour
