In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of AXS's digital products and experiences, ensuring they are user-centered, innovative, and visually compelling. This role will work closely with product management, and engineering to define and deliver exceptional user experiences across all platforms in both the consumer and enterprise experiences.What Will You Do?Build and Lead High-Performing Design TeamsRecruit, develop, and mentor a team of world-class product designers, cultivating a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Foster an inclusive environment where team members feel empowered to challenge ideas, experiment with bold concepts, and grow professionally.Define and Drive Product Design Vision and StrategyCraft and articulate a compelling product design vision and strategy that aligns with AXS’s mission, business goals, and brand identity.Advocate for user-centric design principles across the organization and champion the role of design as a strategic differentiator in driving product innovation.Oversee the End-to-End Design LifecycleEstablish and optimize scalable design processes that support seamless collaboration between design, product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.Ensure the delivery of innovative, user-centered, and visually compelling designs from concept to production, meeting quality standards and deadlines.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to Align on GoalsPartner with product management and engineering to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, creating cohesive and impactful product experiences.Influence and contribute to product roadmaps by advocating for designs that enhance usability, accessibility, and engagementLeverage Research and Data-Driven InsightsLead user research initiatives, including ethnographic studies, surveys, and usability testing, to uncover actionable insights.Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and continuously evaluate the success and impact of design solutions.Develop and Govern Scalable Design SystemsEstablish, maintain, and evolve robust design systems and libraries that drive visual and functional consistency across all AXS products and platforms.Ensure the design system supports scalability, innovation, and accessibility standards, fostering efficiency and reducing redundancies.Stay at the Forefront of Industry TrendsMonitor emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in product design, user experience, and digital interfaces to keep AXS at the cutting edge.Identify and advocate for opportunities to incorporate new tools, methodologies, and frameworks into the design process.Communicate and Inspire at All Organizational LevelsPresent and justify design work and strategic decisions to stakeholders, including executives, partners, and clients, articulating the value of design in achieving business goals.Serve as a design thought leader and evangelist within the company and in the broader design community, representing AXS at industry events and forums.What Will You Bring?BA/BS Degree (4-year) Design / Marketing / Communications10+ years in product design, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleExperience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis.Experience with design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.Experience designing for ticketing or e-commerce platforms.A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience with a focus on digital products.Proven ability to lead and mentor design teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Passion for live entertainment and a desire to create amazing experiences for fans and clients alike.Familiarity with agile development methodologies.Pay Scale: $210,795 - $260,000What’s in it for You?The chance to shape the future of AXS's digital products and experiences Extraordinary People – we’re not kidding!Meaningful Mission - Helping revolutionize an industry and deliver better experiences for fans and clients around the world.Opportunities for learning and leveling up through training and education reimbursement.More about AXSAXS, a subsidiary of AEG, sells millions of tickets each year for over 500 premier venues, sports teams, and event organizers across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
