Key Responsibilities
Designing experiences that fulfill the solution requirements provided by product management
Driving alignment with engineers and product stakeholders to improve customer experience
Facilitate design thinking and co-creation workshops with internal stakeholders and customers to help define the problem we are trying to solve.
Able to understand complex product requirements / specifications and convert them to easy-to-use software solutions
Participate in research and user testing with internal and external customers.
Create design specifications through user flows, wireframes, and visual mockups
Propose and negotiate improvements to the user experience with product manager, developers, and business stakeholders
Collaborate with other product designers, visual designers, and engineers
Creating clear and well-formed use cases for development teams
Solving problems through application of existing design patterns and design system
Document UX/UI behaviors
Hand-off UI mockups to front-end developers and review front-end implementation
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and mastery of information design is critical
Advocate for the customer and the use of design thinking practices throughout the design process
Create flows, sketches, personas, prototypes, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and deliverables that guide the implementation of our proposals
Skills
Advanced skills creating prototypes in Figma strongly desired
Familiarity with Miro is a plus.
Experience facilitating cross-functional design thinking workshops is a plus
Advanced Visual Design and Information Architecture skills
Well versed in the use of Design Systems
Advanced skills with User-Centric Design methodologies such as Lean UX and Design Thinking
Well versed in Agile methodologies and software development processes
Experience with User Research.
Ability to communicate to all levels of users (internal and external), strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, willing to take ownership and to manage ambiguity
Experience in Computer & Software Technology design preferred
Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Qualifications
3-5+ years SW UX design experience
BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Design or Technology related field
The job positing anticipated expiration date is 3/31/2025
The base pay range for this role is $104,800 to $158,250 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
