We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Media, PA. In this role, you ll support Occupational Therapists in providing therapy that enhances residents' independence, functionality, and quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to resident goals.
- Lead therapeutic activities aimed at improving daily living skills, mobility, and overall well-being.
- Document patient progress accurately and collaborate on treatment adjustments as needed.
- Educate residents and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.
- Maintain a safe, positive environment for all therapy sessions in compliance with facility guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program.
- Active COTA license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain it.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
