This role involves representing clients in creditor’s rights cases, managing litigation strategies, and attending court appearances across New York State. The ideal candidate will thrive in both independent and team settings and have a strong commitment to legal excellence. Duties: Represent clients in daily court appearances, including in-person and virtual conferences, motions, and other matters on the court's docket. Manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated creditor’s rights claims. Develop and execute litigation strategies, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and settlement agreements. Collaborate directly with senior management and clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Work with paralegals and support staff to respond to legal demands and produce necessary documentation. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to the New York State Bar and good standing. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel regularly for court appearances and other professional obligations. Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professional conduct. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Additional bar admissions in New Jersey, Connecticut, or Massachusetts are a plus. Skills: Proficient in litigation processes and creditor’s rights law. Skilled in legal drafting, discovery, and motion practice. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Effective interpersonal and partnership-building skills for working with clients and team members. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple responsibilities.
